“It’s kind of cozy,” he said, pulling the blanket closer around his shoulders.

“I know,” his friend replied. “I don’t know if I can stand it much longer.”

That kitty 40-odd years ago (probably closer to 50, actually) was called Wissely (Veaselly), she had a brother called Brünelli, which is Swiss-German for "Whitey" and "Browny". That was on our annual summer holiday in Switzerland; one of the things I liked about that place was that there were kitties to cuddle! Of course now that I'm grown up I can have my own kitties, so there.
